Windows Server 2008 persistent routes

I can never remember this, so I thought I would blog it

route -p add XXX.XXX.XXX.0 mask 255.255.255.0 YYY.YYY.YYY.1

XXX = Network
YYY = Gateway

    HI there just to let you know this syantx is in correct for server 2k8

    2k8 should be Netsh interface ipv4 add Route (desternation/mask) 1.1.1.1/32 “the name of the interface to be used E.g LAN1” (Next hop or Gateway to the desternationip address) 2.2.1.12
